Giacomo is the Founder and Managing Director of Noventi Ventures.
Giacomo is also Chairman and CEO of Neato Robotics, a home robot company.
He serves as Chairman of Velomat, and on the Board of PCTEL (NASDAQ:PCTI) and Ecrio.
He led Noventi investments in Easy Market (acquired by TUI), M7 (acquired by BEA), Sygate (acquired by Symantec) and Dynamicsoft/Teltier (acquired by Cisco).
Prior to Noventi Giacomo was a private venture investor. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of two private companies.
Previously, Giacomo co-founded Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI). He was with the company for over a decade as a Director and member of the management team launching Logitech and driving it to become a world leader in computer peripherals. He served most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations; and Vice President of Engineering. Prior to Logitech, Giacomo was with IBM and Olivetti, where he was involved in the development of early relational database management systems.
Giacomo is a Trustee of the UC Davis Foundation and a former director of the National Italian American Foundation.
Giacomo holds a "Laurea" degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa.
