Ecrio Inc., a pioneer in next-generation communication and commerce services for mobile phones, today announced the appointment of Ms. Randy Granovetter as the company's new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Current CEO and Founder Nagesh Challa remains part of the Ecrio executive team and continues as Chairman of the Board and Chief Strategy Officer.
Ms. Granovetter previously served as General Manager of Innovations at Microsoft's IdeAgency. The IdeAgency served as a catalyst for innovative thinking throughout the industry giant, giving employees and executives a forum in which to collaborate on new ideas and develop those concepts into working prototypes. Before joining Microsoft, Randy was the Founder and CEO of JABRA Corporation; President of Blyth Software Corporation; President and Founder of Digital Orchid; and Vice President at Qualcomm, where she championed the company's enterprise applications and services for the wireless internet.
